Who is T=H@tti?
Tribe Called Quest, Leaders of the New School, and Isaiah Rashad are a few names that come to mind when I’m listening to Atlanta resident and Florida native T=H@tti’s music. Lyrical wit, funky and fun beats, and unique and entertaining delivery is what this indie artist consistently brings to the table.
T=H@tti is not new to the indie music scene in Atlanta, and his releases, Color in Definition and Let Me Talk To Em has been circulating for awhile. His latest single release, Barry’s Groove, containing a sample from the late Barry White and a feature from another Atlanta artist Shay J Today follows T=H@tti’s tried and true formula of funk and lyrics. The two emcees absolutely annihilate the track, and it’s definitely been on heavy repeat in my car.
What’s now and next?
He explains “I am molding my brand as a creator and also working on expanding outside of the Atlanta and the United States.” In addition to pushing his music nationally and internationally, he has also been examining his image and brand, which is a major thing for all artists in a time were fans have so much access to your life, look, brand, and interests through social media.
