Road to Roo Quarter Finals at MadLife Stage & Studios

Miller Lite and Alt 105.7 radio station have teamed up to give one band a spot on stage at the Bonnaro Music & Arts Festival.  Sixteen quarter finalist bands competed to take the legendary stage at the 2018 Bonnaroo Music Festival, this June in Manchester Tennessee.  Four of the quarter finalist bands that performed tonight at MadLife Stage & Studios were: Sash the Bash, Misty Eyed, Scarlett and Help Computer.  Two of these bands would move on to be featured on the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival’s bill along side artists and bands such as: Eminem, The Killers, Muse, Future, Bassnectar, Dua Lipa, The Revivalists,Thundercat, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Sheryl Crow, Anderson.Paak and more!

The Bands

Sash the Bash is Sasha Vallely on guitar and Vox and Lindsey Tulkoff on Drums.  Their sound echoes punk, post-punk, surf rock, 60s garage rock, and rockabilly/psychobilly influences.

Misty Eyed is an alternative rock band a Alternative Rock band from North Atlanta, GA with influences of new and old.

Help Computer describes their music as a marriage of mathematic rhythms, beautiful melodies, and funky grooves.  Their sound is reminiscent of experimental jazz like the Sun Ra Arkestra or their contemporary Zack Sekoff.  Photos Courtesy of Carey Hood of Just a Fan Photography.

The Winners Are…

The two bands that moved on to the semi-finals were Misty Eyed and the Help Computer. We capture these band’s performances for Libro Musica Live!  Misty Eyed and the Help Computer will compete in the semi-finals on March 13th or March 20th at Smith’s Olde Bar.  Two of the bands from each night of the semi-finals will move onto the Road to Roo City finals on March 28th  at the Atlanta Sport and Social Club.  From there two bands will move on to the State Finals to represent Atlanta on April 28th at the Atlanta Sport and Social Club.  Doors for each show are at 7PM and the first band hits the stage at 8PM.
